Job Summary
Oversee nursing operations during evening and night hours across hospital departments, provide clinical consultation and coordination of nursing resources, and assist in delivering nursing care to patients of all ages. Lead rounds, ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards, develop a shared vision for the Nursing Division, and collaborate with nursing management to meet internal and external customer needs. Roles include guiding staffing decisions, change management, and training/education for nursing staff (e.g., BLS/ACLS). Emphasizes relationship-based care, professional practice, safety, and continual improvement within a large health system.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Three to five years’ Clinical Nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting with demonstrated leadership skills and clinical knowledge
- Current BLS
- Current ACLS Certification
