Job Summary
Nursing Student Preceptors are college students in volunteer roles within Mesa Public Schools, supporting Health Office responsibilities alongside a Mentor Nurse while fostering academic, behavioral, social, and emotional growth in students. Applicants must be concurrently enrolled in college, complete the MPS Field Experience Agreement, and hold a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or pass a background check and fingerprinting process. Ideal candidates will demonstrate exemplary punctuality, communication, and compliance with professional dress and behavior standards.
Required Qualifications
- Concurrently enrolled in college courses
- Completed the MPS Field Experience Agreement
- Hold a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) OR Complete background check and fingerprinting process by the MPS Volunteer Office
