Job Summary
Assist in the delivery of nursing care under Registered Nurse supervision by following the nursing plan of care and reporting interventions, changes, or relevant observations. Serve as an integral resource in implementing clinical and technical aspects of care while remaining attuned to individual patient needs, age, and outcomes to modify the approach accordingly. Maintain visual, auditory, and verbal acuity with strong communication skills, and hold required BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association prior to the first clinical shift. This apprenticeship is for final semester nursing students identified by their school as meeting program requirements for the Fall 2026 PACU rotation.
Required Qualifications
- currently enrolled in final semester of nursing program
- identified by nursing school facility as meeting requirements to participate in apprenticeship program
- Final semester of Nursing School
- Possess visual, auditory, verbal acuity
- Good communication skills
- BLS certification
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
