Job Summary
Nursing Services Supervisor provides leadership and oversight of the nursing team to ensure safe, therapeutic patient care across divisions. Responsibilities include scheduling (Monday–Friday 3:00pm–11:30pm with weekend rotation), ensuring accurate documentation in medical records, enforcing medication protocols, maintaining a safe environment, acting as back-up to charge nurse, resolving patient/family concerns, coordinating admissions/discharges, fostering collaborations with other care levels, overseeing staff training and performance evaluations, managing resources and budget, and ensuring regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, ROS). Requirements include nursing licensure (Wisconsin RN), appropriate degree (associate minimum), supervisory experience, CPR certification within 30 days, and clinical experience in mental health or chemical dependency services. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, 2 years of nursing experience; Associate's degree required; Wisconsin Registered Nurse license active and in good standing; at least 1 year supervisory/management experience preferred; CPR certification within 30 days; annual re-certification; clinical experience in mental health or chemical dependency services
