Nursing (RN) Opportunities at St. Marys - Jefferson City MO

Delivers professional nursing care in the operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures. Performs scrub and circulating functions, including instrument handling, monitoring patient condition, and assisting the operating physician with hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning. Prepares operating rooms and surgical instruments, and applies evidence-based nursing practice in alignment with patient age and clinical needs as described in the department’s Scope of Service. Follows professional standards per the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and RN licensure. Role emphasizes direct patient care in the perioperative environment; includes day shift responsibilities and adherence to hospital nursing standards.
