Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols by systematically evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. Establish effective relationships with patients, families, and significant others to facilitate unique care plans, while utilizing the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care. Coordinate with inter-professional teams and communicate collaboratively with patients and providers to ensure culturally sensitive, ethical, and humane care. Educate patients and families on measures that promote health and comfort, and foster a healthy work environment by serving as a mentor and role model for colleagues and students. Apply evidence-based practice to deliver age-specific and clinical care, perform point-of-care testing, and work in a constant state of alertness.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
