Job Summary
Provides direct nursing care in Emergency Department settings requiring comprehensive assessments and interventions in line with hospital policies and protocols. Responsibilities include triaging patients, analyzing assessment data to determine diagnoses, planning individualized care outcomes, implementing and educating to promote a safe practice environment, evaluating progress toward outcomes, effective communication across practice areas, and demonstrating leadership while maintaining current nursing practice knowledge and applying evidence-based care in Emergency Nursing. Must meet licensure requirements and maintain applicable certifications (BLS/ALS/ENPC/PALS/NRP/TNCC) to support patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Registered Nurse (RN) with applicable state licensure (IL/MO/OK/WI/compact state)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) or related certification such as ENPC, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc.
- Ability to obtain required state licenses and certifications as listed for MO/IL/Oklahoma/Wisconsin states
