Job Summary
Provide nursing care to members in accordance with physician's orders and emergent needs, administering medication and documenting clinical progress notes. Perform initial nursing assessments, monitor vital signs, and coordinate care with dietary, pharmacy, therapy, and other member services. Assist members with daily functional activities including hygiene, meals, and ambulation while providing health education to staff, families, and the community. Ensure all work complies with company policies, safety standards, and NJ Dept of Health regulations. This role offers hourly pay with daily pay available and includes benefits such as PTO, medical, vision, dental, and 401(k). Candidates require an RN license, CPR certification, and 1-2 years of experience in a licensed health care facility, with geriatric and long-term care experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- RN License
- CPR certification
- valid malpractice insurance policy if applicable
- 1-2 years full time equivalent experience in a licensed health care facility
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Knowledge of NJ Dept of Health and Senior Services Manuals of Standards for Adult Day Health Care Licensure
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal environmental and OSHA regulations
- Ability to demonstrate good English communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to demonstrate excellent organizational skills
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to work in a cross-functional capacity
- Ability to work flexible schedules on demand
Desired Qualifications
