Job Summary
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately. Administer prescribed medications and treatments, prepare equipment for cardiac procedures, and maintain awareness of patient comfort and safety. Observe patients, record conditions, and notify supervisors of cardiac status changes while responding to life-saving situations based on established protocols. Document nursing histories, initiate patient education plans focusing on cardiac health, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Requires one year of recent Stepdown RN experience, PCCN certification, and a valid RN license. Located in Lancaster, South Carolina for a 13-week travel assignment with highly competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must be able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
