Job Summary
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately. Administer prescribed medications and treatments while preparing equipment for physician-led cardiac procedures. Assess complex patient needs, document history and physical assessments, and initiate individualized education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications. Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing protocols and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care for patients transitioning from intensive care. Requires one year of recent Stepdown RN experience, PCCN certification, and a valid RN license. Located in Lancaster, South Carolina for a 13-week travel assignment with highly competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
