Job Summary
Travel 8-week Stepdown RN assignment in Avon, IN for Fusion Medical Staffing. Provides care to patients transitioning from intensive care to stepdown medical-surgical units with telemetry monitoring and cardiac-focused nursing interventions. Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac rhythms and vital signs, administering prescribed medications, preparing equipment for cardiac procedures, educating patients on cardiac health, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care. Required Qualifications
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification
- 1 year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Telemetry monitoring competence
- Cardiac care proficiency
- Ability to perform nursing interventions, administer medications, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
