Job Summary
Travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Palm Springs, CA. The nurse provides care to patients transitioning from intensive care to stepdown/medical-surgical units, with emphasis on telemetry monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and timely interventions. Responsibilities include administering prescribed medications and treatments, preparing equipment for cardiac-related procedures, educating patients on cardiac health and risk factors, observing and documenting patient status, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care. Requirements include an active RN license in California, PCCN certification, and at least one year of recent Stepdown experience. The role requires English language proficiency, physical ability to assist with equipment and patient movement, and the capacity to work under supervision within the clinical team. Required Qualifications
- RN license valid in California
