Job Summary
Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities and administer prescribed medications and treatments. Prepare equipment for physician procedures, observe patients for significant conditions, and document nursing assessments for assigned telemetry patients. Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care. Requires one year of recent Stepdown RN experience, PCCN certification, and a valid RN license. This 13-week travel assignment in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, offers highly competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including day one insurance.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
