Job Summary
Travel 13-week assignment as a Stepdown RN in Rochelle Park, NJ. Provide care to telemetry patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical or general inpatient units. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs; administer prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care; assist physicians with cardiac-related procedures; educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; document nursing history and physical assessments; respond to cardiac emergencies; maintain infection control and safety protocols; strong telemetry monitoring and critical care coordination skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- English language proficiency
