Job Summary
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately to life-saving situations. Administer prescribed medications and treatments while preparing equipment for physician procedures and examinations. Assess and manage complex patient needs transitioning from intensive care, documenting history and physical assessments for assigned telemetry patients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care and initiate individualized education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications. Maintain awareness of patient comfort and safety needs while adhering to hospital safety protocols and infection control guidelines. Requires one year of recent Stepdown RN experience, PCCN certification, and a valid RN license.

- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push

- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
