Job Summary
Assess learning needs using data, performance trends, and staff feedback to design and deliver evidence-based education aligned with clinical priorities. Facilitate learning through classroom, simulation, bedside, and digital formats while coaching and mentoring staff to foster professional growth and clinical excellence. Collaborate with leaders and interdisciplinary teams to support change, safety, and quality initiatives, and evaluate the effectiveness of educational activities. Supports staff onboarding, orientation, and role transition while maintaining professional competency and advancing NPD practice. Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Required Qualifications
- State of Idaho Registered Nurse OR licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the 'multistate privilege to practice' compact with Idaho prior to start date
- BSN required
- Minimum 3 years direct patient care experience preferred
- Previous experience in designing, developing, conducting and evaluating training programs for adult learners preferred
- Nursing Professional Development certification (NPD-BC) preferred
- BLS required
- Must be able to lift or move up to 35 lbs
- Must be able to maintain a standing position
- Must be able to stoop, crouch, or bend
- Must be able to push, pull, or transport heavy equipment
- Must be able to assist in patient transfer
- Must be able to reach arms above or below shoulder height
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
- Competent to meet age-specific needs of the unit assigned
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate degree in nursing or related field preferred
