Job Summary
Facilitate caregiver orientation and ongoing learning by assessing needs, applying adult learning principles, and utilizing standardized tools. Mentor preceptors and clinical coaches to support personal growth and job enrichment while promoting self-reliance and teamwork. Collaborate across service lines to identify learning gaps, adopt evidence-based practices, and ensure seamless transitions for new and existing staff. Champion inquiry by fostering knowledge sharing and advancing clinical nursing practice to enhance patient outcomes. Requires BSN, active RN license, and BLS certification. Based at Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree verification required)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers
- Demonstrated experience in adult or staff development
- Demonstrated nursing experience
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs
- Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate supplies and equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc
- Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing or a related field
- Certification in Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC) or a related specialty
- Three (3) years of relevant nursing experience
- Local, Regional, or National Presentations or Publications
