Job Summary
Onsite Nursing Professional Development Practitioner delivers clinical education, orientation, and ongoing professional development for caregivers across care areas, guiding learning using adult-learning principles; serves as resource and mentor to nurses, preceptors, and clinical coaches; leads interprofessional learning and evidence-based practice initiatives, coordinates orientation and ongoing education, and supports transitions in clinical practice at Intermountain Health’s Billings location; travel to various sites may be required; strong communication, curriculum development, and learning assessment skills are essential; BSN required with RN licensure and BLS certification; Master’s degree and NPD certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree verification required).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers.
- Demonstrated experience in adult or staff development.
- Demonstrated nursing experience.
