Job Summary
Facilitate learning by applying the educational design process to bridge knowledge and practice gaps identified through needs assessments. Act as a change agent to transform processes, mentor colleagues to advance the profession, and lead inter-professional practice environments. Champion scientific inquiry by promoting the generation and dissemination of new knowledge and the use of evidence to advance professional development practice. Partner with teams to promote a culture of lifelong learning during practice transitions. This role supports lifelong learners in an inter-professional environment, requiring a Bachelor's degree in nursing, Texas licensure, and current BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree of Nursing
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification
- Minimum three years of experience in clinical nursing practice and application of adult education theory in a hospital and/or School of Nursing
Desired Qualifications
- NPD Certification or Certified Nurse Educator
