Job Summary
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to patients with pulmonary and respiratory conditions, including COPD, pneumonia, and asthma. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management. Monitor patient progress to promote positive outcomes while supporting a culture of safety, excellence, and teamwork. Night positions are eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $20,000. This unit specializes in advanced respiratory care within a supportive environment for Graduate Nurses, LPNs, and RNs seeking professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Graduate of an accredited/state-approved School of Nursing
- Current RN license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider/BLS certification or ability to obtain during orientation
- Recent nursing school graduate awaiting RN licensure
- Eligible to participate in Mercy's Graduate Nurse program
- Current LPN licensure in the state of practice
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care within a team-focused environment
