Job Summary
Nursing Operations Manager PRN responsible for identifying and ensuring appropriate patient placement and expediting patient flow (admissions and transfers) in accordance with clinical standards; manage staffing to ensure equitable arrangements; optimize the patient experience across the hospital; monitor adherence to the operating budget; approve expenditures to align with budget guidelines. Requires a BSN, RN licensure, BLS or ACLS certification, and at least three years of acute care experience; prior management experience preferred. The role involves coordinating patient throughput, maintaining quality care, and leading nursing operations on a PRN schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
- Three years of experience in an acute care setting
