Job Summary
Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care in the Behavioral Health unit, adhering to the Registered Nurse Practice Act and facility policies. Collaborate with the Program Director to implement behavioral health philosophy and objectives while overseeing patient care for adults and older adults. Define and prioritize goals for self and subordinates, evaluate nursing personnel performance, and suggest modifications to maintain efficient and competent practices. Promote harmonious relationships among staff, medical personnel, patients, and internal customers. Requires a current RN license, BSN, and five years of psychiatric nursing experience. Full-time variable shift.
Required Qualifications
- current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse
- BLS upon hire and maintain current
- minimum of two years supervisory /management experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Five (5) years Psychiatric Nursing experience
Desired Qualifications
- Current ACLS Provider Certification
