Job Summary
Lead a team of LPNs and RNs by evaluating performance, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring required training is completed. Direct nursing assessments, diagnoses, plans, implementation, and evaluation while monitoring delegation processes with the Medical Director. Conduct medical assessments for referred individuals, coordinate nursing intake processes, and develop procedures for assigned tasks. Apply expert clinical judgment to care situations, conduct quality assurance audits, and implement changes to nursing-related QAI systems. Act as a liaison between state and community health agencies to expand resource networks and compile QA data for recommendations. Review and revise nursing care plans regularly, oversee high-risk medical conditions, and supervise medical components of service plans in collaboration with physicians.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Current state RN license
- Minimum of five years of experience working with medically and/or behaviorally complex individuals
- One year of supervisory experience
- Current driver's license
- Car registration
- Auto insurance
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Self-motivated
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with others
- Well-organized
- Ability to prioritize tasks and workload
