Administer, analyze, and appraise patient care within the Department while advising the Acute Care Director on status, budgetary projections, and quality improvement processes. Plan and implement patient care and teaching based on total assessment, evaluating and documenting patient responses to monitor physiological and psychosocial status changes. Manage personnel resources cost-effectively, lead staff supervision, and participate in unit-based quality improvement processes. Act as the patient and family advocate by protecting confidential information and reporting potential safety issues or significant medical errors through established guidelines. Maintain regular attendance, complete mandatory education requirements, and utilize the Performance Improvement Plan to enhance patient safety.
