Job Summary
Conduct daily rounding with nurses, medical assistants, and patients to promote effective communication and working relationships across Family Medicine clinics. Lead unit council meetings, track activity outcomes, and manage recruitment and retention for registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, and medical assistants. Coordinate ambulatory primary care operations serving newborns through geriatric populations, ensuring compliance with Title 22, JCAHO, and Magnet standards. Monitor space/resource utilization, approve shift requests and time off, and manage payroll activities while maintaining Optilink data accuracy. Serve as a coach and mentor to charge nurses and students, fostering collaboration between primary care and behavioral health services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing Degree in Nursing
- 2 years Experience in a formal management position
- 4 years Experience as an RN
- Must be computer literate in Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning and evaluation skills
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written

- Registered Nurse - RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing) Valid California License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
- Fire Life Safety Training (LA City)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree Nursing Degree in Nursing or in progress, strongly preferred
