Job Summary
Conduct daily rounding with nurses, medical assistants, and patients while managing 24-hour accountability for quality of care, operational efficiency, and human resources across the Verdugo, HC2, and Arcadia clinic locations. Lead recruitment, retention, and training initiatives for registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, and medical assistants, fostering collaboration between primary care and behavioral health services. Drive data-driven decision-making by collecting monthly quality metrics, investigating adverse events, and implementing performance improvement programs aligned with JCAHO and Title 22 standards. Coordinate departmental services, manage staffing flexibilities based on patient acuity and census, and oversee payroll and schedule approvals. Mentor charge nurses and new hires to ensure competency and advancement within the organization's Shared Governance and Magnet philosophy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing Degree in Nursing
- 2 years Experience in a formal management position
- 4 years Experience as an RN
- Must be computer literate in Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning and evaluation skills
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written

- Organization/time management skills
- Registered Nurse - RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing) Valid California License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
- Fire Life Safety Training (LA City)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree Nursing Degree in Nursing or in progress, strongly preferred
