Job Summary
Manage 24-hour accountability for patient care quality, operational efficiency, and human resources across Family Medicine clinics in Verdugo, HC2, and Arcadia. Conduct daily rounding with nurses, medical assistants, and patients; lead unit council meetings; and oversee recruitment, retention, and training for RNs, LVNs, and medical assistants. Monitor space utilization, approve staffing deviations based on acuity, and manage payroll and scheduling. Ensure compliance with Title 22, JCAHO, and Magnet standards while driving performance improvement and shared governance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing Degree in Nursing
- 2 years Experience in a formal management position
- 4 years Experience as an RN
- Must be computer literate in Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning and evaluation skills
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written

- Able to function independently and as a member of a team
- Organization/time management skills
- Registered Nurse - RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing) Valid California License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
- Fire Life Safety Training (LA City)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree Nursing Degree in Nursing or in progress, strongly preferred
