Job Summary
Lead the clinical, operational, financial, and administrative leadership of the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Department, including Blake 4, Pediatric Endoscopy, and the Charles River Plaza Center. Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for Registered Nurses, Surgical Technologists, and support staff while overseeing recruitment, hiring, and succession planning. Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization to ensure efficient patient flow and procedural throughput. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation requirements, and regulatory standards including The Joint Commission and CMS. Partner with physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and interdisciplinary teams to advance quality initiatives, evidence-based practice, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing
- Registered Nurse [RN - State License]
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS (AHA)]
- Nursing experience 2-3 years
- Nursing leadership experience 1-2 years
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided
- Minimum of 5 years of Endoscopy RN experience and/or Nursing leadership experience
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree Nursing
- Basic Life Support [BLS Certification]
