Job Summary
Direct and develop nursing staff while managing operations through the initiation, coordination, and enforcement of policies and procedures. Write and update nursing guidelines, adopt innovative practices to improve facility standards, and establish personal rapport to identify patient service requirements. Recruit, select, and guide nursing personnel, providing coaching, counseling, and discipline to support job results. Offer emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families, while answering their questions and requests. Requires 5+ years of nursing experience, a current RN license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' nursing experience
- Current RN License in the state
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with a large team
- Able to work efficiently under time constraints
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Able to interview nurses for open positions
