Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care to members in accordance with physician orders and emergent needs. Responsibilities include observing, monitoring and documenting vital signs and responses to treatments and medications; assisting members with daily functional activities such as hygiene, meals, ambulation, arrivals/departures, and social activities; providing health education to staff, members and family; administering medications with appropriate certification and supervision; and collaborating with cross-functional team to achieve center goals. Requires LPN license and CPR certification; 21+; 1+ year of related healthcare experience preferred, especially with seniors or adults with special needs; flexible schedule and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; compliance with policies, safety and regulatory standards; background checks and any applicable state requirements.
Required Qualifications
- LPN License
- CPR certification
- valid malpractice insurance policy if applicable
- at least 21 years of age
- at least one-year full-time equivalent experience in a health care setting preferred
- prior experience working seniors and/or adults with special needs preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- able to multi-task and manage time effectively
- able to work a flexible schedule
- able to bend/pull/push/squat/turn/transfer and lift 50 pounds
- background check and state-specific regulatory requirements as applicable
