Job Summary
Nursing leadership role in Salt Lake City providing clinical leadership across medical respite and resident care, with potential to structure as Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager/Lead Nurse, or Evening & On-Call Nurse depending on licensure and experience. Responsibilities include resident assessment, care planning, care coordination, staff support and supervision, regulatory compliance, HIPAA adherence, and nursing leadership as part of the medical respite program for individuals experiencing homelessness. The role requires trauma-informed care, strong clinical judgment, and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external providers. Final scope, schedule, title, and compensation will be determined by qualifications and organizational needs. Schedule options may include daytime leadership hours, evening nursing coverage, and overnight on-call. Compensation will be based on licensure, experience, responsibilities, and final role structure. Qualifications emphasize current Utah LPN/RN licensure, with RN strongly preferred for higher-responsibility roles; experience with vulnerable populations is preferred; and a commitment to compassionate, person-centered, trauma-informed care. Required Qualifications
- Current LPN or RN license in good standing with the State of Utah
- RN strongly preferred for Director of Nursing-level responsibilities
- Nursing experience in assisted living, hospice, home health, medical respite, behavioral health, public health, or similar settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, external providers, and non-clinical staff
- Commitment to trauma-informed, harm-reduction-oriented, compassionate care
