Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care under Registered Nurse supervision, including assisting patients with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, and observing patient status. Complete assigned nursing orders and document observations to preceptors or staff. Assist with care plan development by reporting test results and observations, while performing assigned tasks such as environmental services and transporting patients for diagnostic services. Requires BLS certification within 30 days of hire and enrollment in a nursing program within 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- High school diploma/GED
- Accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer
- Begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer
