Job Summary
Nursing Instructor responsible for delivering instruction in nursing programs using pedagogy and technology, developing and maintaining curriculum and course materials, and guiding student achievement of program learning outcomes. Responsibilities include maintaining records, facilitating a productive classroom environment, supporting retention and student success, using a Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard) for teaching and communication, providing academic coaching and interventions, engaging with college-wide initiatives, and participating in professional development and accreditation-related activities. The role requires adherence to FERPA and regulatory standards and collaboration with college leadership to advance program objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing
- Unencumbered registered nurse license in Indiana or eligible
- Two years of directly related work experience
- Degree must be from a regionally accredited institution
