Nursing Instructor - FT40 (day and nights)

Job Summary
Instructors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver education services to students through: preparing course plans and materials, delivering courses, monitoring progress/attendance, advising students, recording grades and submitting reports, and fulfilling faculty duties of instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical sites. Must meet credentialing requirements compliant with state licensing agencies and regulatory boards and participate in program, institution and community activities. The role requires holding a Master's degree in Nursing (Doctorate preferred), a current Florida RN or APRN license, and minimum 2 years of full-time nursing practice and teaching experience, with flexibility to teach both day and evening classes across campus needs. Maternal-Child Health experience and learning-outcomes assessments are preferred. Location is Fort Myers, FL, with on-site, in-person teaching.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Nursing
- Doctorate Degree in Nursing is preferred
- Current unrestricted State of Florida RN License or APRN license
- Full time nursing practice, minimum 2 years
- Full time teaching experience, minimum 2 years preferred
- Experience with learning outcomes assessments preferred
- Maternal-Child Health experience is preferred
- Schedule Flexibility to teach both day and evening classes based on campus needs
