Job Summary
The Nursing Instructor is responsible for planning and overseeing Nursing Students during clinical time, working collaboratively with local colleges and nursing leaders, and coaching students in clinical practice. Additional duties include facilitating clinical documentation standards, maintaining clinical skills, and promoting a safe work environment. The role requires the ability to guide students in decision-making and compliance with healthcare standards, along with a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Maintain RN Licensure to practice in the state of Iowa
- BLS within 6 months of employment
- Mandatory reporter of Dependent Adult/Child Abuse
- Credential trainer of inpatient EPIC within 1 year of employment
- 2 years of ICU, CCU, ER, or Medical-Surgical experience
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years of ICU, CCU, ER, or Medical-Surgical experience

- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
