Job Summary
Nursing Instructor responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality nursing instruction, aligning with curriculum and accreditation requirements, and supporting student success through diverse teaching methods, regular assessment of outcomes, academic advising, and collaboration with faculty to improve program delivery and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree from an approved school (preferred) or Associate degree with applicable credentials/teaching experience
- Current CA license as an RN or VN
- Minimum teaching experience in nursing or related fields as specified (state-approved requirements)
- Ability to meet CA teaching credential requirements or equivalent
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Proficiency with standard office software and course delivery tools
