Job Summary
Nursing Home Patient Liability Analyst runs daily reports in the VITAS system, maintains Excel spreadsheets for patient liability reconciliation, communicates with affected parties after research, and generates adjusting entries to clear open items. Performs daily AR reconciliation to the patient liability GL, identifies uncollectible items for write-off, corrects mappings of vendors, and supports Nursing Home processing for accurate levels of care and rates. Provides customer service for room-and-board issues, coordinates with Contracts to resolve payment barriers, and assists as a floater for Accounts Payable-related special projects.
Required Qualifications
- Two years experience
- Intermediate Excel knowledge
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of Medicaid rules/healthcare procedures related to Hospice and nursing homes preferred
- PeopleSoft accounts payable knowledge required
