Job Summary
Direct all facility operations in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations while leading department heads to maintain high standards of resident care. Monitor financial performance through budgeting and cost control, and oversee maintenance and safety to ensure a secure environment. Develop strategic initiatives and quality improvement plans, ensuring policies align with company goals and industry standards. Build effective relationships with residents, families, staff, and the community to promote a positive culture. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of post-acute care regulations and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Active and unrestricted Nursing Home Administrator license (HFA, LNHA) in the state of practice
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and act on financial records and reports
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to act independently when needed
- In-depth knowledge of post-acute care facility regulations, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to implement and evaluate departmental programs, policies, goals, and objectives
- Proficient in core competencies including leadership, staff supervision, financial oversight, regulatory compliance, resident rights, and safety/sanitation
- Maintains positive and professional relationships with staff, residents, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Upholds confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information at all times
- Demonstrates integrity and professionalism, completing all required Code of Conduct and compliance training
