Job Summary
The Nursing Home Administrator manages the day-to-day operations of Camden Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center to ensure efficient and compliant operation and the highest quality of care. Responsible for planning goals for quality care, employee retention, and financial performance; directs hiring and training; prepares annual budgets for Regional Management approval; oversees clinical, administrative, and service departments; implements control systems for accountability; represents the facility at community meetings and promotes programs; monitors performance and leads census development/marketing; serves as Equal Employment Opportunity Coordinator; chairs the facility's Performance Improvement Committee; and performs other duties as assigned. Requires a BS in health care administration or related field, licensure as LNHA or reciprocity eligibility, and two years’ LNHA experience or completion of an AIT program. Knowledge of long-term care, Medicaid/Medicare regulations, budgeting, and staff leadership with strong communication and emergency-response abilities.
Required Qualifications
- BS in health care administration, business administration, finance, a clinical specialty or equivalent long term care experience
- Licensed by the state or eligible for reciprocity
- Two years’ experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in a long-term care facility or completion of an AIT program
