Job Summary
Provides overall leadership, direction, and operation of the long-term care facility, ensuring quality resident care, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, employee engagement, and resident/family satisfaction. Directs daily operations, establishes a culture focused on dignity and safety, oversees regulatory compliance (federal, state, CMS, North Dakota Health), develops and implements strategic and operating plans, manages budgets and census trends, coordinates survey processes and plans of correction, collaborates with the Director of Nursing, and drives quality improvement and QAPI activities. Demonstrates strong leadership, relationship-building with staff and providers, problem solving, accountability, and continuous growth in a patient-centered, compliant healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Long-Term Care Administration, Nursing, or related field
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of North Dakota
- Must successfully pass background checks and drug screen
- Experience in rural healthcare preferred
- Experience with skilled nursing, assisted living, and post-acute care services
