Job Summary
Oversee daily operations and overall management of the skilled nursing facility, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and high-quality care. Direct staff across medical, nursing, housekeeping, maintenance, and social services departments while conducting regular meetings with families and stakeholders. Prepare reports for governing bodies and agencies, interview prospective residents, and monitor facility improvements. Collaborate with leadership on strategic direction, budgeting, and resource allocation; develop policies and implement quality assurance protocols. Lead performance evaluations and mentor departmental staff. Maintain reliable attendance and full compliance with all policies. Requires CNHA certification, Bachelor's degree, or seven years of experience; day shift hours; no sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- Seven (7) plus years of direct experience
- 3-5 years of experience in closely related field
- 3-5 years of previous leadership experience
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and manage cross-functional relationships
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement
- Communicate effectively with leadership, team members, and stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively with others, delegate responsibilities, and independently manage tasks while meeting established deadlines
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- In depth knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory compliance
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Google and Microsoft platforms, healthcare software systems, and data analysis tools
- CNHA - Certified Nursing Home Administrators in the state of practice
