Job Summary
Nursing Graduate in Medical-Surgical Unit to practice under direct supervision of a registered nurse; perform medication administration under supervision; transcribe medication orders, document in medical records, and sign as NG; conduct patient assessments after initial or shift assessments; perform routine nursing procedures taught in the program (including placing NG tubes, urinary catheterizations, applying sterile dressings, blood glucose checks, and obtaining specimens); must not practice independently or hold RN or LPN title until licensure; NCLEX eligibility with time/attempt constraints; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement plan, PTO, tuition assistance, referral bonus, holidays, disability, and more; location tied to Annapolis, MD.
