Job Summary
Guarantee that all nursing services are provided in a professional, safe, and cost-effective manner while ensuring high customer satisfaction. Effectively communicate and collaborate with all departments, and comprehensively document all patient assessments and communications in electronic medical records. Insert, maintain, troubleshoot, and discontinue infusion access according to policies, demonstrating competency in vascular access devices and infusion equipment. Oversee territory management for staff, provide guidance and supervision of nursing staff in care delivery, and participate in field evaluations and annual competencies. Conduct regular staff meetings and huddles to communicate updates, foster a positive team atmosphere, and ensure compliance with NELC policies, federal, state, and JCAHO regulations. Participate in interviewing potential staff members and coordinate patient care administration. This 40-hour, Monday–Friday role based in Scarborough, Maine, includes weekend and holiday rotations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered nurse licensure in all states serviced by the assigned regional team
- Current BLS Certification
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Minimum of two (2) years acute care, vascular access, home infusion experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including: Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
- Willingness to learn or working knowledge of the OSHA, CDC, state and federal regulations
- Willingness to learn or working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations
- Willingness to learn or working knowledge of the Joint Commission accreditation process and standards
- Weekend and holiday rotations as needed

- Previous home health nursing, home infusion and vascular access experience
