Job Summary
Teach undergraduate theory and clinical courses in fundamentals, adult health, geriatric, and medical-surgical topics while developing curricula and assessing learning outcomes. Manage a workload of 24 credit hours per academic year with a regular presence on campus to engage students inside and outside the classroom. Participate in meetings, committee work, advising, and college events to support the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. Begin August 2026 for a full-time, 9-month appointment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing (MSN)
- Doctorate preferred (PhD, DNP, EdD) earned or in final semester/ABD with pending graduation date
- Valid, unencumbered license as a registered nurse or advanced practice nurse in Pennsylvania
- Minimum 3-4 years medical-surgical nursing experience
- demonstrated ability to perform at a high level
- authorized to work in the US at the time of submission of their application
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate preferred (PhD, DNP, EdD) earned or in final semester/ABD with pending graduation date
- Prior classroom and clinical teaching experience at the collegiate level
