Job Summary
Oversee clinical support activities and coordinate interdisciplinary plans of care for patients in the Bone and Joint Center. Assess patients and families, implement clinical care delivery, and triage telephone calls to schedule urgent appointments. Administer vaccinations, injections, infusions, and biologics while maintaining professional licensure and continuing education. Manage medical supply inventory, assist with staffing levels and recruitment, and evaluate clinical staff performance. Ensure the practice meets all code and accreditation standards including OSHA, DPH, JCAHO, CLIA, and HIPAA. Provide education and consultation to healthcare team members and patients, adapting to changing workloads through participative leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure in Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 3 years' experience in a clinical setting
- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19
- Must receive a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine
- Must complete a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred)
- Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
- At least 1 year of clinical experience with sub-specialties
- Clinical Orthopedic experience preferred
- Experience in an office setting related to internal medicine
