Job Summary
The Nursing Content Specialist is responsible for providing instructional support and coaching to nursing students, developing individualized tutoring plans, and collaborating with faculty to enhance course content and delivery. Key responsibilities include evaluating student progress, documenting tutoring sessions, preparing reports on student retention, and performing related tasks. Required qualifications include an Associate’s degree in Nursing, a minimum of one year of RN experience, and a current RN license. Ideal candidates should possess knowledge of nursing program requirements, educational methodologies, and strong interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher in Nursing
- Minimum of one year of experience as an RN
- Current RN license issued by the New Mexico Board of Nursing or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of nursing program requirements and policies
- Knowledge of psychomotor skills associated with nursing
- Understanding of basic teaching and learning methodology
- Knowledge of the learning management system and other technology required
- Knowledge of college policies and procedures
Additional Requirements
- Must hold current RN license issued by the New Mexico Board of Nursing, or in a compact state, or be eligible for licensure in the State of New Mexico by endorsement
