Nursing Clinical Placement Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate nursing service line student placements by scheduling, communicating with academic partners, and ensuring alignment with department readiness and organizational priorities. Serve as a liaison between educators and department leaders to maintain accurate placement records and facilitate the Nurse Mentorship Program, including pairing, education, and evaluation. Support the Transition to Practice program through classroom assistance, participant communication, and rounding to promote a positive learning environment for students and new graduate nurses. Maintain oversight of internal policies and regulations for nursing service line affiliation agreements. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- State of Idaho Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the 'multistate privilege to practice' compact with Idaho
- BSN required
- Must be able to work effectively with all disciplines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required, including presentations
- Proficiency with a variety of computer office applications and EMRs required
- BLS required
- Must be able to lift and move up to 35lbs
- Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate degree in nursing or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years' direct patient care experience preferred
- Nursing Professional Development certification (NPD-BC) preferred
- Previous experience in designing, developing, conducting and evaluating training programs for adult learners preferred
