Job Summary
The Nursing Clinical Instructor is responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality instruction to nursing students, fostering a supportive learning environment, and engaging in program improvement. Essential duties include lesson preparation, student support, assessing learning outcomes, and collaboration with faculty for program growth. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a valid teaching credential, current CA RN or LVN license, and at least two years of nursing experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or valid teaching credential
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a registered nurse or licensed vocational nurse within the last 5 years
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret materials related to area of expertise
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Current CA RN or LVN license
