Guide nursing students through clinical rotations by assuming complete responsibility for their safety, clarifying expectations with facility staff, and utilizing pre- and post-conferences to correlate theory with practice. Mentor, model, and facilitate academic support while applying direct patient care skills to assigned teaching schedules. Contribute to course assessment activities, curriculum improvement plans, and the development of class materials and syllabi within a shared governance culture. Leverage simulation and innovation labs to instruct students, ensuring observable evidence of learning outcomes. Maintain scholarly activities and participate in professional growth in accordance with university policies.
