Job Summary
Provide hands-on nursing care as a Certified Nursing Assistant to residents, focusing on daily living activities and personal hygiene. Monitor health conditions, assist with personal care, support community/social integration, maintain safe and quality supports, initiate emergency procedures when needed, use equipment safely, and report hazardous conditions or incidents. Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation; assist with resident activities, meals, and room preparedness for admissions and discharges; participate in team meetings and training; uphold confidentiality and respect for residents in all interactions.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Completion of CNA certification program; Current CNA certification issued by state relevant to the position.
- One year CNA experience preferred, ideally experience with medically complex patients
- Current in Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and First Aid certifications
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and families
